Entrance qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination or successfully completed the preparatory courses.

English and Hindi

Media and methods employed: Printed text, tutorial support, audio cassettes, study centres, video cassettes.

Administrative information:
Students are required to complete 24 credits from Foundation courses, 56 to 64 credits from Electives, and 8 to 16 credits from Application Oriented courses ie a total of 96 credits for the award of the Bachelors degree.

Minimum time in which a student can complete the Bachelors degree is three years. Maximum time allowed is eight years.

Examinations are held three times a year in May, September and December. Students are free to choose when they sit the examination. However, they must fill in the examination application form three months prior to the examination date.
